Wow, these past two weeks have absolutely flown by! Josh and I celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary on the first. We went to my dr.'s appointment, then out to lunch at Chili's, while my mom watched Natalie. Josh surprised me with 2 dozen roses, a downstairs full of streamers, and a car full of balloons. On the 4th we went to our ward breakfast, and played with Natalie at the park. She had so much fun. After that we went to Grandpa Jim's to help put in a new back door. Most of Natalie's sleep was obtained while driving from place to place. Later we went to a block party, and started to shoot off little fireworks at my parents. When it got dark, Josh had fun. Fire crackers, bottle rockets, and artillery shells. In the lot next to my parents house, a neighbor put on a fire work show. He is a licensed firework technician. The show lasted almost an hour, I don't even want to know how much all those fireworks cost. But, it was so much fun to watch so close up. Natalie really enjoyed watching the fireworks, and running around way past her bed time.
This past week was pretty much catching up and getting ahead in homework. I will be considered full term next week, so the baby could come any time in the near future. So, we are preparing as much as possible before her big arrival.
Natalie's new favorite phrase is "uh-oh". She is still as cute as ever. When we ask her to give her little sister a kiss she comes up to my tummy and gives it a kiss. We have bought her a couple baby dolls to teach her to be gentle. She is going to be such a good big sister. We are teaching her all of her body parts, this week we worked on hands, and feet. She knows all the parts on her face, as well as her tummy. Natalie loves to take baths, and she will even take a bar of soap and wash her own tummy. She is growing up so fast.
Well as fast as these two weeks went I am sure that these next few will go just as fast.
