Anniversary and the 4th!

So it has been awhile since I have updated my blog. This week has been a crazy fun one! Our anniversary was on Wednesday. Josh was able to get it off. He planned an entire day full of activities. After we woke up and got dressed Josh had me check the mail. When I looked in there, there was a rose and Clue number 1. The first clue led us to Red Robin, where we had lunch together. After lunch we got out to the car, and there was and other rose, and clue number 2. Clue 2 led us to the movie theater where we watched "The Propsal". After the movie was over there were 3 theater workers waiting at the exit doors and they handed me another rose and clue number 3. The third clue led us back home where we played water balloon games outside. A couple hours later Mom and Mark knocked on the door. They were holding clue number 4 and another rose. That clue led us to the temple. After we finished our session at the temple the workers at the front desk had the 5th clue. This clue led us back home. As we pulled in the drive way Mike and Julianne lit 4 fire works off. I had such a fun day! In some ways I can't believe that it has been 3 years, and in some ways it feels like it has always been that way. I sure love Josh! I can't wait to see what the next 3 years brings to us!

Now for the 4th of July. Lets say, ummm....Nebraska...meaning....NO RULES!!! We had so much fun lighting off fireworks! But before we get to the fireworks...on Saturday morning we went to a ward breakfast. We had pancakes, sausage, and friut. The boys played football, and Natalie had fun playing on the playground. After that we walked down the street to buy fireworks. That night Mike was able to light his first "real" fireworks. We went over to my parents neighborhood for the celebration. There they had a potluck, a bounce house, and a firework show. Natalie LOVED the bounce house. She would have stayed there all night if we would have let her. She also met a little girl, her age, that she played with. It is good to see her making friends, and being more social. Chelsea took to the fireworks really well this year. She laughed as they went off, and took turns sitting in everyones lap to watch them. We had a wonderful 4th.
